Orem has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mountain View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Bruins at 3:30 p.m. Orem is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
Orem took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Timpanogos as they made off with a 16-6 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted against the Timberwolves since April 25, 2023.

Kiley Hoshnic made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sadie Groneman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Andlie Allen, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Orem was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .516. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in 12 consecutive games.
Uintah hit Mountain View with a 12-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bruins lost 14-2 to the Utes. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Bruins couldn't push the score so high this time.
Mountain View saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Saralynn Hair, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Orem's record is now 14-11. As for Mountain View, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Orem hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .391. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Orem's way against Mountain View when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Orem made off with a 14-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
