New Designs University Park was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Brio College Prep on Friday. The New Designs University Park Cardinals were the clear victor by a 36-13 margin over the Brio College Prep Olympians. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

New Designs University Park was led to victory by Daviandre Davis and Gael Mejia. Davis posted 13 points, while Mejia put up nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Davis has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dorian Pollard, who had eight points.

With the win, New Designs University Park broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-5. As for Brio College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Designs University Park will venture away from home to square off against USC Hybrid at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. New Designs University Park is facing USC Hybrid at the right time seeing as USC Hybrid is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Brio College Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Rise Kohyang at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
