Early View Academy of Excellence were the 65-60 winner over the Rock County Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Early View Academy of Excellence took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rock County Christian.
It was another big night for Tony Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds for Rock County Christian. Thompson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Derek Quinn was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Early View Academy of Excellence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Rock County Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Early View Academy of Excellence will take on Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock County Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maranatha Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maranatha Baptist has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
