If Chestnut Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 13-7 takedown of Westmont Hilltop on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions lost 13-3 to the Bald Eagle Area Eagles on Friday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chestnut Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Yatta, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Chestnut Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Bald Eagle Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chestnut Ridge will face off against Bishop Carroll at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bald Eagle Area, they will challenge West Branch at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
