Monroe had won three straight games and Kie'Aundria Acree did her part to make it four on Saturday. Everything went the Golden Tornadoes' way against the Baldwin Braves as they made off with a 74-52 win with plenty of help from Acree, who shot 6-for-8 from deep and dropped a double-double with 32 points and 13 boards. Her big performance that evening made it 34 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Mckinzy, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Baldwin lost, don't look at Suri Clark. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. Conniya Reaves was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Monroe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-38 win against Brookwood on the 29th. As for Baldwin, they have also already played their next contest, a 61-46 loss against Putnam County on the 28th.
