There's no place like home for Hahnville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Opelousas Catholic Vikings with a sharp 8-2 victory on Friday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Sophie Boudouin was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Amberly Dempster was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Hahnville's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Opelousas Catholic, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Hahnville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Oak Grove's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Opelousas Catholic, they will square off against St. Amant at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Amant will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Opelousas Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
