Softball Recap: Mission Valley Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Mission Valley won the last time they faced Lebo and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings blew past the Wolves 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Kyplee Jacobson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Natalie Hoffman, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Mission Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Mission Valley's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lebo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coming up, Mission Valley will host Chase County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lebo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
