Jimeto Orji and Ian Quaratino certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Orji scored 11 points along with two steals, while Quaratino scored nine points. Josh Neely was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Gavin Massler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for The Academy, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was CJ Hernandez, who scored 13 points.
Jefferson Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for The Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.

As for The Academy, they will challenge Prospect Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
