In what's become a running theme this season, Crofton gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 66-37 victory over McDonough at home. Winning may never get old, but Crofton sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Despite the defeat, McDonough had strong showings from Lexi Garrison, who scored ten points along with two steals, and Cailyn Samuel, who scored 13 points along with three steals. That was a full 35.1% of McDonough's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Crofton's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for McDonough, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7.
Crofton will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Old Mill has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4. As for McDonough, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Point will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
