Everything went the Pyramid Lake Lakers' way against the Excel Christian Warriors on Tuesday as the Pyramid Lake Lakers made off with a 56-31 win thanks in part to Darrough, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 16 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sam Mills, who posted 16 points and six rebounds. Mills is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 boards.

As for Excel Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Whittell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
