The Sylva Bay Academy Saints can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They breezed by Newton County Academy on the road to the tune of 43-16. The team accrued 32 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sylva Bay Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Timothy Moss, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moss has scored all season. Jabari Jones was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals.
Sylva Bay Academy's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Newton County Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
