Liberty Christian Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Shekinah Christian Flames at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Liberty Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago, Liberty Christian Academy's game was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged Granville Christian Academy out 44-42.
Liberty Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Carson Crabtree, who scored 16 points, and Kaden Minier, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Crabtree is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight.
Meanwhile, Shekinah Christian came tearing into Saturday's matchup with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Tree of Life Christian with points to spare, taking the game 52-37.
Liberty Christian Academy's record is now 5-8. As for Shekinah Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.
Liberty Christian Academy came up short against the Flames in their previous matchup back in January, falling 48-38. Can Liberty Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
