The Tullahoma Wildcats will face off against the South Pittsburg Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tullahoma will be strutting in after a win while South Pittsburg will be coming in after a defeat.
Tullahoma's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Central Magnet with a sharp 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Amaya Sharp looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Meanwhile, South Pittsburg fell victim to Bledsoe County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Kaylee Kilgore spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.
Tullahoma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for South Pittsburg, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
Tullahoma couldn't quite get it done against South Pittsburg when the teams last played back in March as they fell 6-2. Will the Wildcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
