Rector barely beat Piggott the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars took their matchup on Monday with ease, bagging a 48-18 victory over the Mohawks. The Cougars have beaten the Mohawks the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mohawks has come to flipping the script.

Rylee Wilburn was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double with 27 points and 13 boards. What's more, she also posted a 43% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January. Bailey Vangilder was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

The win got Rector back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rector will square off against Armorel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piggott, they will challenge Corning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
