Volleyball Recap: Tree of Life Christian Comes Up Short

Tree of Life Christian suffered their biggest loss since September 24, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Madison Christian Eagles. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Tree of Life Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Madison Christian work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-20.

Despite the defeat, Tree of Life Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rosie Gresh had 13 digs and two assists. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Gresh.

Madison Christian found their leader in freshman Sydnor Mishti, who had six aces and two blocks.

Tree of Life Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Madison Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Tree of Life Christian will take on Genoa Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fairfield Christian Academy on the 30th.
