After flying high against White Knoll  on Thursday, Lexington came back down to earth. The Wildcats took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Landsharks apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in August of 2024.
 Rylee Nates paced Lexington's offense, picking up three kills. Nates got some help from  Riley Livingston and her five assists.
Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, the  victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
 Lexington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  win against David Crockett on the 26th. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  loss against Pickens on the 26th.
