The Alpena Leopards entered their tilt with the Lead Hill Tigers with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Alpena managed a  57-51 win over Lead Hill  on Tuesday. The score was all tied up  25-25 at the break, but Alpena was the  better team in the second half.
 When it comes to explaining why Lead Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Kaden Baker. Despite the final result, he  scored 21 points along with eight  rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was  Coda Lemon, who  scored 12 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Alpena's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Lead Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alpena will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kingston at 5:30  p.m.  on January 5, 2024. Lead Hill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Deer at 4:30  p.m.  on January 5, 2024.
