Soroco lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rachelle Dudley, who scored 11 points. Alyana Edwards was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Soroco, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Hayden will square off against Rangely at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Rangely will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Hayden surely won't give up without a fight. Soroco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
