Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Norman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelsey Rhyne, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Rhyne is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Samantha Shehan, who scored 18 points along with six assists.
A.L. Brown has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for Lake Norman, their victory was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
A.L. Brown will take on Cox Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Norman, they will head out on the road to face off against West Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Cabarrus will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 121st, while Lake Norman is ranked fifth).
