The Dimond Lynx will square off against the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Dimond is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Aubree Ogee put in work no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Rachel Whetten was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let Service get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.
Like Dimond, Bettye Davis East Anchorage also got a great game from a two-way player: Sela Rodriguez. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Rodriguez was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaliyah Villafuerte, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Penina Tali was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
