Tenafly had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 40-31 victory over Fort Lee on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Dwight Morrow took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They strolled past River Dell with points to spare, taking the game 64-47.
Tenafly's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dwight Morrow, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.
