The Mayfield Panthers posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 80-27 victory over Middleburgh. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-18.
Cloey Dopp continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with six steals and two blocks. Brianna Iannuzzi was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
The victory got Mayfield back to even at 8-8. As for Middleburgh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mayfield will take on Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corinth is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. As for Middleburgh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Charlotte Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
