Islamic Foundation suffered their biggest defeat yet this season last Tuesday. They were beaten by Walther Christian Academy 61-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Islamic Foundation has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Unity Christian Academy entered their tilt with Grace Christian Academy with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Unity Christian Academy put the hurt on Grace Christian Academy with a sharp 80-60 win on Monday. Unity Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
Unity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenyun Mazique led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Mazique also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Donovan O'Neil, who scored 18 points along with six assists and two steals.
Islamic Foundation's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Unity Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Islamic Foundation was dealt a bruising 71-36 loss at the hands of Unity Christian Academy in their previous meeting last Monday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Unity Christian Academy's Shamar Coleman, who shot 5-for-12 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds.
