After having lost a blowout to Abbeville in their previous contest, Jeanerette were happy to find some success on Friday. Jeanerette got past Loreauville with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 20-14. Loreauville can consider this payback for the 33-34 defeat they dealt Jeanerette the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win got Jeanerette back to even at 2-2. Loreauville are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Jeanerette take on Catholic - N.I. at 7:00 PM. Catholic - N.I. took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Jeanerette's good fortune. As for Loreauville, they will face off against Franklin. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Loreauville and three for Franklin.
