Goffstown scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Milford, 30-28. At the time, the Spartans were ranked 23rd in the state, while the Grizzlies were 30th.
Souhegan extended the longest winning streak in Division III this week by beating Manchester Central, 35-28. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Sabers.
ConVal's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Riordan McCole has thrown for 217 yards this season, while Jeremy Doubleday has 12 catches for 130 yards. Chris Queen leads the league in rushing with 700 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Portsmouth and Milford. The Clippers enters the contest ranked 20th in the state, while the Spartans ranks 24th.
Goffstown and Milford played the most hotly contested game in Division III this week, with Goffstown eventually emerging with a 30-28 victory.
