Air Academy is 10-0 against Discovery Canyon since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Air Academy Kadets will host the Discovery Canyon Thunder at 6:00 p.m. Air Academy will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Thursday, Air Academy blew past Lewis-Palmer, posting a 66-38 victory. The Kadets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 24 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Tatyonna Brown, who went 10 of 12 en route to 22 points and eight boards. Her evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lydia Flowers, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 14 points and five steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Discovery Canyon's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 59-38 to Palmer Ridge. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Thunder have suffered since February 15, 2024.
Air Academy will have to contain Addison Hulse as she made an impact in Discovery Canyon's last game. She posted 11 points and seven rebounds.
Air Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Discovery Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Air Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Discovery Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Air Academy against Discovery Canyon in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured an 81-28 victory. In that contest, Air Academy amassed a halftime lead of 39-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
