Hot Springs led Black Hills in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Lead-Deadwood. Jake Oberpriller ran for 109 yards in the win.
Custer's dynamic duo of Chase Glazier and Jared Thomsen proved tough for More to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Glazier threw for 130 yards and one touchdown and Thomsen had 73 yards receiving. Clayton Wahlstrom helped Custer's passing attack out by catching four balls for 35 yards.
Casey Siedler made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Wildcats fell to the Cavaliers. The 6-foot-3 sophomore recorded one fumble.
6-foot-4 quarterback Glazier of Custer is the league leader in passing yards this season with 742. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, the Bison's Oberpriller has rushed for 554 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Eriq Swiftwater. The Hot Springs star has 11 catches for 185 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Belle Fourche takes on Douglas. At the moment, the Broncs are in fourth, while the Patriots are in fifth.
Hot Springs featured an ironclad defense this week, and led Black Hills in points allowed with 0.
