Perry's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lily Meyers, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds, and Karagyn Whelchel who scored 11 points.
Perry bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.5 points per game. As for South Hamilton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will take on Prairie City-Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie City-Monroe presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Perry in Iowa (Prairie City-Monroe is ranked 43rd, while Perry is ranked 309th). As for South Hamilton, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome West Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
