The Freeport Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights  a   1-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 The  win  got Freeport back to even at 2-2-1. As for Rocky Bayou Christian,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeport will host Pine Forest  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they will play host again  on Monday to welcome Pensacola, where kickoff is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.
