It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Christian Learning Academy Eagles can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 47-21 walloping at the hands of the Praetorians on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Christian Learning Academy has scored all season.
Oluwafimijoba Oyedeji was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 19 rebounds for Heritage Prep. That makes it three consecutive games in which Oyedeji has scored at least a third of Heritage Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Trent, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Christian Learning Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Heritage Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
Christian Learning Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage Prep also has no future games currently scheduled.
