The Aubrey Rogers Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Evangelical Christian Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Aubrey Rogers is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Aubrey Rogers can't be too worried about heading out to take on Evangelical Christian: they just beat Estero at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Aubrey Rogers strolled past Estero with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 76-61. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wildcats are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aubrey Rogers to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angelina Insana, who posted 30 points. Insana's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Ella Johnson was another key player, putting up 19 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evangelical Christian). They claimed a resounding 70-35 victory over Canterbury. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.
Evangelical Christian's win came from a few key players Aubrey Rogers will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kellisia Grant, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 19 points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nalah Smith, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Evangelical Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive matches.
Aubrey Rogers pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Evangelical Christian, their record is now 13-7.
Aubrey Rogers was dealt a bruising 70-31 loss at the hands of Evangelical Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Aubrey Rogers was down 47-17.
