Having just played yesterday, the First Assembly Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Hamilton Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on December 16th. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for First Assembly Christian and eight for Hamilton dating back to last season.
First Assembly Christian's 18-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Whitehaven 57-23 on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points First Assembly Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hamilton struggled with assists on Tuesday (Bluff City had 15 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Hamilton fell to Bluff City 53-48. That's two games in a row now that Hamilton has lost by exactly five points.
Amare Boothe put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 38 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points.
First Assembly Christian bumped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
