Central Springs might be getting used to good results now that the team have four wins in a row. On Friday, they won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by South Winneshiek 30-29. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Central Springs take on St. Ansgar at 7:00 PM. Unlike Central Springs, St. Ansgar will be limping in after taking a loss. South Winneshiek will look to defend their home turf against Newman Catholic at 7:00 PM.
