Faith Christian has struggled against True North recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dylan Martinez. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 43.1% of Faith Christian's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Bryan Galvan, who scored 16 points.
True North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Calisch, who scored 24 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Calisch has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxson Moss, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for True North, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Faith Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Still Creek Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Still Creek Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday. As for True North, they will head out on the road to challenge Kingwood Christian Life Center Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
