Meanwhile, West Ashley put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Berkeley as West Ashley made off with a 5-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for West Ashley who now have four in a row.
River Bluff now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for West Ashley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-3.
River Bluff beat West Ashley 2-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for River Bluff since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
