The Madill Wildcats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Stilwell at home to the tune of 49-21. This was payback for Madill, who suffered a 44-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Eli Vinson threw for 33 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. On the ground, Luis Rodriguez rushed for 39 yards.
Madill's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Stilwell, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madill will face off against Hilldale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilldale comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Stilwell, they will head out on the road to face off against Broken Bow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
