The Manning Monarchs lost against the Georgetown Bulldogs last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Manning took a hard 58-44 fall against the Bulldogs.
Ty Stanley was nothing short of spectacular for Georgetown: he scored 23 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stanley has scored all season. Kavonte Matthews was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Manning dropped their record down to 13-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Georgetown, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manning will face off against the Blue Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Aynor has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12. As for Georgetown, they will head out on the road to take on the Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Loris is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.
