The Power Center Academy Knights pushed their score all the way to 64 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to Hamilton. It was the first time this season that Power Center Academy let down their fans at home.
It was another big night for Devan McGee, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds for Hamilton. McGee hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Rodney Mcneal, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Power Center Academy's loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Power Center Academy will head out on the road to face off against Kirby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kirby is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ridgeway at 7:30 p.m. Ridgeway will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
