After flying high against the Gladewater Bears on Friday, the Henrietta Bearcats came back down to earth. Henrietta took a serious blow against Chapel Hill on Friday, falling 93-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Henrietta has scored all season.
Braden Buchanan was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points for Chapel Hill. The matchup was Buchanan's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Martinez, who scored 13 points.
Henrietta's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-6. As for Chapel Hill, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Henrietta won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hemphill at 11:30 a.m. on December 9th. Chapel Hill and Gunter will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Gunter will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while Chapel Hill is ranked 130th).
