The East Pennsboro Panthers waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 59-53 W over Boiling Springs. That's another feather in the cap for East Pennsboro, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Boiling Springs' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brayden Richie, who scored 15 points, and Brandon Ascione who scored 13 points. Riley Lucido was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
East Pennsboro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
East Pennsboro will take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Camp Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Panthers are ranked 245th). As for Boiling Springs, they will head out on the road to challenge the Steamrollers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Steelton-Highspire is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
