In what's become a running theme this season, the Texas Christian Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 65-36 win over The Connection School of Houston. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Texas Christian has posted since December 1, 2023.
The Connection School of Houston lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brennen Citizen, who scored 11 points along with two blocks. That's the first time this season that Citizen posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Dollar, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Texas Christian has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for The Connection School of Houston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Texas Christian and Humble Christian will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Humble Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday. As for The Connection School of Houston, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Angleton Christian at 7:00 p.m.
