Chillicothe had won four straight home games and Cartae Ligon did his part to make it five on Friday. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the McClain Tigers with a sharp 36-14 victory thanks in part to Ligon, who rushed for 333 yards and five TDs while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles.

Chillicothe's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for McClain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Chillicothe will take on Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Ironman/Ironladies have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for McClain, they will challenge Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.22 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
