The Lone Peak Knights stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on American Fork with a sharp 65-45 victory. The win was nothing new for Lone Peak as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Lone Peak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shawnee Nordstrom, who scored 18 points along with seven steals. Nordstrom is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Bartholomew, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Lone Peak pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.4 points. As for American Fork, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
