Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Snook Christian Academy finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, falling 14-2. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.
Colton Givens made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Aletheia Christian Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Snook Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Aletheia Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Snook Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
