Germantown had won three straight at home, but on Monday they bumped up to 13-5 to make it four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Brookfield East Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 two weeks ago.
Alaina Williams was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Alison Pentek was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
