The league's longest active winning streak belongs to
Pawnee (25-6, 8-0), undefeated over its last 12 games. The streak was extended by another three games over the past week, including a 2-0 victory over Argenta-Oreana and a 10-0 win over Sangamon Valley.
Mt. Olive's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 23 hits and 11 walks to lead the league in both categories. The Wildcats have given up a mere 162 hits on the year, while striking out 67 opposing hitters.
Jake Niehaus is the leader in that category with 34 Ks on the season.
