Pace is on a five-game streak of home wins, while the Bears are on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Pace will take on the Seward Park Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Pace will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Bears are ranked 146th).
Pace won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune two weeks ago. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 53-32 walloping at the hands of Beacon. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pace has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Seward Park didn't have too much trouble with the Tigers at home last Wednesday as they won 70-54.
Pace's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Seward Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.
Pace took a serious blow against the Bears in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 77-41. Will Pace have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
