After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Jefferson, Ririe was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the West Side Pirates 8-7. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 11-1 victory last Friday.
Cheznee Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off 11 hits.
