De Kalb has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. The De Kalb Bears and the Pewitt Brahmas will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, De Kalb was the victim of a tough 52-27 defeat at the hands of Jefferson. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points De Kalb has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Pewitt's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 65-44 defeat at the hands of Elysian Fields.
De Kalb's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pewitt, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 7-11.
Everything came up roses for De Kalb against Pewitt in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 68-34 win. Does De Kalb have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pewitt turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
