Hammond Academy of Science & Tech has not had much luck with Washington Township recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Jaylen Ridle and Jermaine Bartlett certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Ridle scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and six steals, while Bartlett scored 16 points. The match was Bartlett's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Hammond Academy of Science & Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Washington Township, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Hammond Academy of Science & Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kouts at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Washington Township will be home for the holidays to greet Culver Community at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
